The National Park Service issued a memorandum on April 3, 2020 extending the deadline for submission of all Annual Financial Reports by concessioners. The new deadline for any AFRs due prior to July 15, 2020 is July 15, 2020. The memorandum was issued to NPS Commercial Services Regional Chiefs, and directed them to notify the park concessioner managers of the extension. If you did not submit your AFR by the deadline set out in your contract and did not receive written confirmation from your local NPS concessioner manager that your deadline has been extended, we recommend you contact that person to ensure you are not downgraded in your Annual Operating Review for a late submission. This confirmation is particularly important because a late submission of an AFR will result in your Administrative Compliance Score being adjusted to Marginal which means your total AFR score cannot exceed Satisfactory.
