The Rio Grande National Forest has issued a Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for its revised Forest Plan and a draft Record of Decision (ROD). Interested parties have 60 days from the publication of the notice in the local newspaper, The Valley Courier, to submit any objections they may have to the Final EIS and draft ROD. Subject to limited exceptions, objections can only be filed by entities which previously submitted comments on the draft EIS.
